Visiting Egypt Service

The service

Overview

Egypt’s monuments are better with someone who can read them. We arrange guided visits at a pace that suits you, with early starts to beat the heat, time to linger where you want, and the logistics handled.

A good guide turns stone into stories. Tours are planned around opening hours, crowds and the midday sun, with a private car and driver between sites so the day flows.

Choose a single day at the Pyramids or weave several sites into a longer itinerary. Families, history enthusiasts and travelers with limited mobility can all be catered for, with routes adapted where possible.

Scope

What the service includes

The last surviving wonder of the ancient world, ideally visited early in the morning.

  • Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur

  • Egypt’s great museums

The Grand Egyptian Museum, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.

  • Historic Cairo

Islamic Cairo, the Citadel, Coptic Cairo and the Khan el-Khalili bazaar.

  • Luxor and Aswan

Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, Philae, Abu Simbel and more along the Nile.
